Research Packaging Design using Local Material for hand-made Cloths A Case Study of Ban Suk-kasem
Indigenous Cloth Weaving Group Banglen District Nakhon Pathom Province. . The purpose is to design and
develop hand-woven packaging using local materials. And to evaluate the concept of hand-woven packaging
designed and developed from local materials for the Suk-kasem Professional Group, Nakhon Pathom Province.
The sample used in this study was a group of 15 home-based makers of Baan Suk-kasem. The samples were
selected by the group leader as the facilitator and 122 general consumers. Incidentally, the group attended a
showcase at various venues. The results showed that: 1. The results of the evaluation on the packaging model
showed that the materials used were very suitable ( ̅= 4.36; S.D. = 0.49). At the high level, the aesthetics ( ̅=
4.27; SD = 0.46) and the durability in use ( ̅= 4.27; SD = 0.70). The level of packaging was high ( ̅= 4.16; SD = 0.37)
2. The results of the first and second satisfaction were rated the highest ( ̅= 4.57; SD = 0.50). The second was the
second form ( ̅= 4.50; SD = 0.50). ). The order of 3 was equal to the mean of 3 ( ̅= 4.49; SD = 0.53 and 0.50,
respectively)
