An origin for interpreting and the consumers behavior in purchasing illegal lottery of elderly in Tha-Yang district, Phetchaburi

Abstract

Objectives of this research for study an origin of numbers for interpreting to purchase illegal lottery of elderly in Tha-Yang district, Phetchaburi and study of pattern and the consumer behavior in purchasing illegal lottery of elderly. This research using qualitative research methods phenomenological methodology. The data were collected using in-depth interview. The key information is elderly people. The result of this research found that an origin of numbers was 1.from dreams 2.from children 3.from holy things 4.from animals 5.from situations or things that happened. About the interpreting numbers used a prediction method of ancient people or used the constellation. Opening forecast book or consulted with expert person. About pattern and behavior purchasing illegal lottery was bought every time, for buy at least one hundred baht to thousands baht, when the lottery was won the prize .The money will be collected for buying in the next time
