The study of natural tourism potential in the case of Tambon Klong Kien, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga province

Abstract

This research aims to study the potential of natural tourism and to study factors contributing to the natural attractions in Tambon Klong Kien, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province. This research uses Action Research methodology using local and community participatory processes (PAR: Participatory Action Research) based on qualitative methodologies combined with quantitative study methods. There are 2 groups of samples in this research, people living in Tambon Klong Kien, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province and tourists that come to Tambon Klong Kian, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province. The results of this study show that the potential of natural tourism in Tambon Klong Kien, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province is where the people in the community demand their own villages as natural attractions and the community is ready and very pleased to welcome tourists. By ready to adapt to the ability to explain the knowledge transfer to tourists. For the study of factors contributing to natural attractions, it was found that Tambon Khlong Khan Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province has many factors contributing to the tourist attraction, including the beauty of the tourist attraction, celebrity, convenient travel, security of tourist attraction, and the natural beauty of the tourist attraction.
