Abstract
This research is to study the perception level and relationship of career success, emotional quotient and
life satisfaction with self-esteem of operational level employees as a mediating variable: a case study of
Telecommunication Company in Bangkok. Sample consists of 380 employees, age range of 21-40. Research
instruments are questionnaires of demographic information, career success, emotional quotient, life satisfaction
and self-esteem. The results of the study are as follows: Perception level of career success, emotional quotient
and self-esteem are at high level, life satisfaction is at medium level. Overall and all dimensions of career
success, emotional quotient and self-esteem correlate significantly with life satisfaction (Overall: r = .647, r = .679
and r = .642, p < .01 respectively). Self-esteem is partial mediator of overall career success and emotional
quotient with life satisfaction.
