Participation of community in waste management : A Case study of Khlong Maha Sawat community, Maha Sawat Subdisty, Phuttamonthon District, Nakhonpathom Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the waste management in the households and 2) the participation of community in waste management. The samples of this study were the 216 heads of household in Moo 1, 2 and 3 in Khlong Maha Sawat community. The statics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study showed that participation of community in waste management in all three aspects was at the moderate level. The reduction of the waste was at the high level. The cooperation in waste management and participation in solving problems were at the moderate level.
