Quality of Life of Public Motorcycle Riders in Bangkok A Case Study in Thungkru, Rat Burana, Phasi Charoen,Bangkok Noi,Bang Khae District

Abstract

This research aimed to study the quality of life and factors that may affect public motorcycle riders’ life quality in Bangkok area. The Case Study focus in the area of Thungkru, Rat Burana, Phasi Charoen, Bangkok Noi, and Bang Khae District. There were 400 samples of public motorcycle riders were chosen via purposive sampling method. The data were collected by questionnaires using the Independent sample t-test and One-way ANOVA to evaluate. The results illustrated that, public motorcycle riders’ life quality in Bangkok was in quite satisfying level. The factors that influenced the life quality were the difference of ages and education, analysis of variance at statistically significantly level .05. However, it was suggested that Government should have the efficient regulation, providing the Traffic discipline training course for motorcycle riders, considering the safety of riders and passengers issues and Raising awareness of the important of the rider occupation and happiness of work.
