Effects of Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment of Employees in Commercial Bank
Abstract
The purpose of this research were to study effects of work motivation, job Satisfaction on
organizational commitment of employees in Commercial Bank. This research used the quantitative
approach to design the study. The samples were the bank employees pre-constructed
questionnaires were used as data tools to collect data from 353 questionnaires. The statistics
analyses used are the Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and Multiple Regression
Analysis. The results are as follow (1) Work Motivation had a significant positive correlation with
Organizational Commitment. (2) Job Satisfaction had a significant positive correlation with
Organizational Commitment. (3) Work motivation and Job Satisfaction could predict Organizational
Commitment. The results of the study can be used as a guideline for setting policies and retaining
employees to stay with the organization.
