In the past two years, artificial intelligence-generated image technology (AIGIT) has attracted much more attention through text-driven visual creation, and brought innovative potential to the design of cultural and creative dolls in the education workplace. This study used the design of creative merchandise dolls for Taiwanese agricultural products as an example, conducting a three-hour practical training program based on the Stable Diffusion platform. The results showed that by combining prompts incorporating merchandise doll image design symbols and undergoing manual post-processing, AIGIT generated an innovative doll design integrating cultural symbols, thereby assisting students in learning and understanding the relationship between cultural symbol transformation and design aligned with market product positioning. Future recommendations seemed to include addressing the risks of homogenization in product creativity and the potential drawbacks of AI technology dependency. Besides, cross-disciplinary expression capabilities should be cultivated through prompt integration, and a human-machine collaborative design process should be established to enhance AIGIT's value in cultural and creative doll design education.en_US
