Analysis of Defects Occurring During the Operation of Perfume Supply Chain Case Study of Manufacturer and Distributor of Linna Perfume
Abstract
Analysis of risk factors of perfume supply chain. Case study of manufacturer and distributor of
Linna perfume. The objective of study are 1. Study the risk factors in the supply chain. 2. To assess the
severity of risk factors in the supply chain. 3. To propose the risk management approach in the supply
chain by using a semi-structured interview form to enter in-depth interviews. and inquiring the person
involved of perfume supply chain for upstream, midstream and downstream to analyze assessing
violence risk evaluate by used Failure Mode & Effects Analysis ( FMEA) and rank the risk factors and
analyze the reasons to propose risk management.
The results found that there are 5 main factors affecting the supply chain: 1. Use a random product
quality check before placing a sale. 2. The product is easily damaged. 3. Customer credit is carried out to
the cost of non-standard raw materials. 5. There is not enough money to live after purchase. Is the RPN
value of 280,280,336,392 and 567, respectively. The researchers then offered a three-way risk
management approach. As follows: Approach 1 reduce or control risk factors in order to quickly check
the quality of goods before placing a sale, the product is easily damaged, and the customer has
insufficient funds to live after purchase. Approach 2 Avoid risk factors, credit customer loyalty and
approach 3 risk diversification in risk factors, the cost of non-standard raw materials.
