    Factors influencing staff resignation trend of at a private hospital in Rat Burana District, Bangkok

    Abstract
    The objectives of this research were to study personal factors influencing resignation trend; and to study the relationship between influential factors and resignation trend of employees at a private hospital in Rat Burana District, Bangkok. Census technique was applied to collect 282 employees of health related units at a private hospital in Rat Burana District, Bangkok to answer self-reported questionnaire. Data were analyzed by bivariate analysis including t-test, F-test, and correlation analysis. Research findings revealed that samples with different gender and age had different resignation trend with a statistical significance; and job characteristic was positively related to resignation trend. In contrast, compensation and welfare, commander and organization were negatively related to resignation trend with a statistical significance. These results implied that if employees were satisfied with compensation and welfare, they would have positive engagement with their superiors and organization, resulting in reduced resignation trend.
