The form of knowledge-building activities on sufficiency economy for the elderly, with activities in the learning base of the community of Sufficiency Economy Village. The artificial flowers, Nong Khon Village, Prachuap Khiri Khan
Abstract
This research was aimed to study how to create knowledge on sufficiency economy for the elderly, with
activities in the learning base of the community of Sufficiency Economy Village. The Artificial flowers Of Nong
Khon Village, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The researcher used qualitative research method. By interview and observe
the participant with the philosopher of the Artificial flowers, and 11 elderly learners.
The study indicated that the philosopher of the community, Mrs. Rujira Boonkerd, who applied the
philosophy of sufficiency economy in living and working. She was allocated the land into the joint plantation.
She offered the opportunity to the elderly to learn the invention of fresh flowers by based on Sufficiency
Economy Philosophy, to encourage the elderly in the community to understand and apply sufficiency economy
principles. That was made the villagers can rely on themselves. Encourage people in the community to live with
a strong and sustainable career.
The benefit of this learning base was that older people who came to learn artificial flowers can brought
their knowledge into the profession. The elderly learns to live with nature and self-sufficiency, loosens their
loneliness, and they could make money by rely on themselves
