Clean food consumption behavior of elderly in Dusit District, Bangkok Case study : Group of Elderly at Soi 8 community in Artillery Anti Aircraft Division
Abstract
The purpose of this research was 1) studied the foods consumption of community Soi 8. 2) studied life
style and attitude of elder affected to consume clean food. 3) studied guideline of elderly customers’ decision
on consuming clean food. Research was qualitative research. Key informants of this research were elder
community Soi 8. The interview was in-depth Interview and observation.
The result of this study showed that most of elderly customers had 60 – 69 years old. They had the
ability to help themselves. It was found that the elders had a consumed clean food habits. That made elder
healthy. Most of food was Thai clean food. Focus on consumption to 5 food groups. Chosen organic clean foods
whenever possible. Avoiding processed and refined foods. The community had grown vegetable. Elderly had
clean food together.
