Teenger’s Behavioral Factors Effect To Cognitive Development Skills Of Elderly To Use Video Call Via Smartphone

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study adolescent behavioral factors on the development of cognitive skills of older people used video. The sample in this research was 400 elder people of Bangkok by questionnaires which was the tools to collect by using percentage, standard deviation. And hypothesis by Chi- Square Test, Independent Variables was demographics including gender age, status, education and the dependent variable, including knowledge and understanding factors, emotional factors and behavior factors. And the dependent variable, including interaction with older people using video call, the skill and ability used video call through smartphones on an individual basis The result showed that most respondents were female aged 21 years. And graduated in Bachelor’s degree, with the ability and skills used video call at a good level. And often interact with the elderly the smartphone once a month. And found that teens’ behavior factors would affect the interaction with elderly in a better way due to has technology is mediated between adolescence and the elderly, influence the development of cognitive skills of elderly to be able to use video call through smart phones.
