Relationship Between Behavior And Satisfaction On Using Facebook Of The Elderly People In Bang Pa In District, Phranakhon Sri Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the behavior of using Facebook of elderly people in Bang pa-in district, Phranakhon Sri Ayutthaya province 2) to study satisfaction of using Facebook of elderly people and 3) to identify the correlation between behavior and satisfaction of using Facebook of elderly people. This study is a quantitative research and the samples consisted of 400 elderly people in Bang pa-in district, Phranakhon Sri Ayutthaya province. The research instruments to collect data was a questionnaire and used SPSS statistics program to analyze data including percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson ' s Correlation Coefficient and hypothesis by Pearson ' s Correlation Coefficient too. The results showed that most of the behavior that was found was a utilization behavior on Facebook. The most of elderly people used Facebook to follow the news and communicated with their family and grandchild. In terms of satisfaction, the most of elderly people satisfied in communication because they can communicate with their family more than ever and communication via Facebook is very fast and convenient. Furthermore, this research found that utilization behavior on Facebook correlated positively with satisfaction in term of social and entertainment the most at the level of significance at 0.05
