    Abstract
This research is to study the engineering properties of bottom ash admixed with dust stone and Portland cement type I for using in civil engineering projects. Quantities of the admixture (dust stone and Portland cement) used in this study were 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 percent by weight of bottom ash. The engineering properties determination were grain size analysis, consistency limits, specific gravity, unconfined compressive strength , California bearing ratio (C.B.R.) and coefficient of permeability. Results from this study show that the admixtures cannot improve grain size distribution, plasticity and specific gravity of testing materials. The B_LD50_C50, B_SD50_C50 and B_C100 with the admixtures of 8 and 10% were the appropriated materials for unconfined compressive strength. The unsoaked C.B.R. of bottom ash was more than the soaked C.B.R., while the soaked C.B.R. of bottom ash with admixtures was more than the unsoaked C.B.R., moreover, both soaked and unsoaked C.B.R. was increased with more quantities of admixtures in all cases. The permeability of water was decreased with more quantities of admixtures in all cases.
