Health Promotion Tourism Behavior of people in Lamphaya Floating Market, Banglen District Nakhon Pathom Province
Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study health promotion tourism behavior of people
and factors that affected the health promotion tourism behavior of people in Lamphaya Floating
Market, Banglen District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The sample of 200 tourists who were selected
by convenience sampling method.
The instrument used for collecting data was questionnaires which had reliability 0.9609.
Data were analyzed by using the percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The research findings were as follows:
1. Most of samples were female, aged between 21-30 years old, lower than undergraduates,
working in companies and had income lower than or equal to 10,000 baht per month.
2. Most of samples knew Lamphaya Floating Market through personal media. They
occasionally came to the market by cars with their families. The main purposes of the traveling
were to relax and buy products and services. The most activities were buying or eating herbal food,
beverage and toxin-free vegetable and fruit. They spent more than 600 baht and tended to come
back again.
3. The factors of products and services, prices, places and market promotion affected the
health tourism behavior of people in Lamphaya Floating Market at much level.
