The purposes of this research were to study the competencies for E-logistic strategy of SMEs Entrepreneur in Thailand. Research and development method was applied. The sample of this study was 400 SMEs entrepreneurs in Bangkok, Thailand. The instruments of this study were a needs assessment and questionnaire.
The results of the study were as follows:
The study of the competencies for E-logistic strategy of SMEs Entrepreneur were found: (1) The most of the SMEs entrepreneurs aged 36-45 years, held a bachelor’s degree. The number of employee was less than 20. The beginning and current listed fund was less than 25 million baht. The period of operated was 1-5 years. Most of the SMEs were in small size organization that the types of wholesale-retail and industrial goods business group. (2) The core competency was “Human resource management”, the functional competency was “International transportation law” and the technical competency was “International logistic system management” that was a highest needs assessment.
The focus group was found this research specialists’ evaluation agreed between the core competency, the functional competency, and the technical competency and the needs assessment was congruously all.
