    Abstract
    The creation of the art thesis on the topic “Human Desire and Lust Affecting Buddhism in Current Thai Society” reflects the negative state of the human mind and its impact on Buddhism in Thai society, which continues to spread. This influence is evident in the media, news, events, and the researcher’s personal experiences. This issue highlights that it is not the religion itself that is deteriorating, but rather the actions of people in society that are causing its decline. The research aims to: 1 ) Study the principles of the Tripitaka in relation to causes, problems, Western psychological theories, Buddhist psychology, social influences, and the human mind that contribute to lust. 2 ) To create traditional Thai paintings that reflect the problems of human lust and desire affecting Buddhism in contemporary Thai society. and 3) produce a video tutorial on the techniques of creating traditional Thai paintings, to be used in teaching Thai art at the vocational level. The operation process can be divided into 1) study, research and data collection, 2) preparation of thesis and art education teaching media, 3) presentation of creative works and teaching media. The research results found that 1) The data analysis found and understood the principles of Buddhism. The content of the data of the principles of the Tripitaka's teachings in terms of causes, problems, Western psychological theories, Buddhist psychology and social influences, and the human mind that cause defilements. 2) 1 piece of creative work, size 155 x 110 centimeters, in the form of traditional Thai paintings, acrylic and niello techniques, reflecting the problems of human defilements and desires that affect Buddhism in current Thai society. It is a creative work that shows the image of a non-human being and a person who shows a fighting, struggling, and destroying posture. These things all come from the defilements in the human mind. It was created by using a dark atmosphere and using the Dharmachakra as a highlight, which is a symbol of the Dharma teachings, which means the wheel of Dharma, which is in a state of disintegration caused by destruction. 3) Teaching media, a video, learning the technique of creating traditional Thai paintings in teaching Thai art at the vocational level, showing the steps of creating works in the harmachakra area. The highlight of the work is the steps of painting and niello applied with materials.
