dc.description.abstractThe study aimed 1) study the background and narrative of the mural painting of Himmapan birds at the main hall of Wat Suthat Thepwararam 2) create a Thai relief sculpture inspired by the mural painting of Himmapan birds at the main hall of Wat Suthat Thepwararam 3) to design and produce educational materials on the creative process of Thai bas-relief sculpture based on the Himmapan bird mural paintings, aimed at learning skills of Senior High School, Vocational Certificate (Voc. Cert.) and Diploma Vocational Certificate (Dip. Cert.). The research process was divided into 4 steps as follows: 1) studying, researching, and collecting data; 2) creating the art thesis project and developing instructional materials 3) analyzing and summarizing the research findings 4) presenting the art thesis project and instructional materials. The results of the research found that: 1. The study of the background and narrative of the Himmapan bird mural paintings at the main hall of Wat Suthat Thepwararam Ratchaworamahawihan revealed their distinctive artistic style, characterized by intricate details and imaginative representation of Thai art from the early Rattanakosin period. These works reflect significant cultural and artistic values worthy of preservation. 2. The result of the creation titled “A Case Study of the Himmapan Winged Creature Mural Paintings at Phra Wihan Luang, Wat Suthat Thepwararam Rajavaramahavihara” is a bas-relief sculpture measuring 80 x 100 centimeters. The artwork was created using sculpting techniques, silicone moldmaking, and fiberglass resin casting, inspired by the Himmapan winged creature mural paintings, particularly the Karawek bird. The sculpture faithfully follows the lines and intricate details of the original ancient patterns, preserving its traditional identity while demonstrating excellence in both technical execution and creative innovation. 3. The research on the development of the instruction media for the artwork process was creation in relief sculpture of the Himmapan winged creature mural paintings, particularly the Karawek bird to enhance abilities in knowledge, learning skills of Senior High School, Vocational Certificate and Diploma Vocational Certificate.en_US
