dc.description.abstractA research on the Ravana Khon mask has a purposes to 1) study the history and variations of the Ravana mask; 2) the creation of Ravana Mask to match the character in Ramakien by king Rama I of Thailand; 3) construct an educational presentation for secondary school and vocational education in visual arts The research process was divided into 4 steps as follows: 1) ideation and research 2) the creating the art education thesis project and instructional media; 3) analyzing and summarizing the results; and 4) presenting the creative work and instructional media. The research found that 1) The study of concepts, inspirations, and theories related to motherhood found that, Ravana has these characteristics: Green orc face, grinning mouth, wide eyes, crescent tusk 3 tiered crown with 10 faces 2) The result of the creating the art education thesis project as the creation of Ravana Khon mask, using the technique of Ten Essential Traditional, Green orc face, grinning mouth, wide eyes, crescent tusk 3 tiered crown with 10 faces 3) The produced educational material has been made into the form of descriptive pictures of the steps taken in order to create a Khon mask, with explanations of the makings, especially in the painting of the mask to reinforce the learning of cultural fine arts in the context of Khon masks.en_US
