| dc.description.abstract | This thesis was created from what I encountered with homeless people and
stray cats while traveling by bus to the university. It made me feel sympathy and
think that in this area, which Bangkokians call "Phra Nakhon side", there are many
homeless people and stray cats living there. Personally, I think that homeless people
and stray cats have a similar status, without shelter, food, and sleep. The government
does not provide enough assistance. This shows the influence of the environment
and inequality in today's society. From the past until now, this problem has been
seen a lot. It may be because the government has neglected to solve the problem
and turned to develop other areas, such as beautiful places, prosperity in big cities.
This inspired me to create this piece of work. The purpose is to reflect the
problem of homeless people and stray cats as if they have no identity through my
perspective. In terms of the problem of long-standing inequality in society, it is
conveyed through a virtual format by collecting various data, combining the shapes
of homeless people and stray cats with beautiful tourist attractions, and arranging
elements to imitate the virtual images from my perspective that I have encountered.
The work was created through Planographic Printing process (Lithograph) by drawing
lines with wax material on an Aluminum plate through overlapping of colors to create
a realistic dimension, light and shadow, is a 2D printed art work on paper. | en_US |
