SUCCESS IN IMPLEMENTING GOOD GOVERNANCE PRACTICES IN DISTRICT 7 PRISON DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

Abstract

This study aimed to verified successes level of Good Governance concept implementation in 7th region Prison; Compared successes level of Good Governance concept implementation in 7th region Prison according to respondent attitude defined by demographic respondents. This was survey quantitative research, sample calculated it’s sized by Yamane concepts from7th region Prison officers 246 persons. Stratified and accidental sampling were used. Questionnaires was data collection tool. Descriptive statistics were Percentages, mean and standard deviation, inferential statistics were T test and one way ANOVA. The outcomes were as follows successes of Good Governance concept implementation was high level; and There were no significant statistical difference among respondent attitude verified by demographic toward successes of Good Governance concept implementation.
