The study of the safety management system in the workplace using the Beacon indicator

Abstract

The study of the safety management system in the workplace with the Beacon indicator aims to analyze the causes of hazards or illnesses due to the performance of employees at the operational level. Besides, create a safety management system in using the Beacon Signal Indicator, and compare and contrast between the performance of the safety management system in the traditional establishment and the safety management system in the workplace with the Beacon Signal device. This research applied a qualitative research method. The sample group used in the research is employees at the operational level who are workers in Samut Prakarn and Samut Sakhon provinces. The data was collected by accidental sampling using reviewed questionnaire. The statistics used in the research was descriptive analysis. The research results show: the safety management system in the workplace with the Beacon signal indicator reduce the neglect of personal protective equipment of employees before entering the working area more efficiently than the security management system in the traditional workplace. The evaluation of the quality of the safety management system in the workplace with the overall Beacon Signal Indicator at a good level (the average value is 4 . 0 1 ) and each sample group gives a different level of importance. (Standard deviation is equal to 0.235)
