A Study of Problems and Solution Guidelines for Architectural Classroom Building in Bangkok University
Abstract
This research is a study the problem areas within the building of the Faculty of Architecture, Bangkok
University and guideline to resolve the problem. The research is a descriptive research by using 3 methods 1 .
The questionnaire 2. Interviews 3. Participate observation of researchers. The main target group are students and
teachers of the Faculty of Architecture. Nowadays Bangkok University is using the buildings that was not designed
from the needs of the students. So, we found a problem from an area within the school building and classrooms
which lead us to survey the needs and inquire issues.
The research found that students and teachers of the Faculty of Architecture are using the building areas
which caused the most problem are buildings 41.92 percent, classrooms 36.15 percent, furniture in classroom
and facilities. The recommended solutions from collected-data has opened opportunities for students and
teachers which is the main group of people who use the building to offer opinions and propose solution
together with researchers to find guidelines solution, basic solution, collecting data for school building
construction and be useful to others in developing implementation to conform to the needs of users and the
purposes of a school building Faculty of Architecture.
