Facilities Problems And Requirement For Elder In Religious Places In Samutprakarn Province Case Study : Bang Plee Yai Nai Tample And Asokaram Tample

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research. The purpose is to know the problem and requirement of the older person in the practice the dharma and religious activities at the religious places Bang plee yai nai temple Bang plee district and Osokaran temple Mueang Samutprakarn district. To propose a development approach and improvement facilities to accessory for the older person in the practice the dharma and religious activities at the religious places Bang plee yai nai temple Bang plee district and Osokaran temple Mueang Samutprakarn district. From case study, the survey at Bang plee yai nai temple Bang plee district and Osokaran temple Mueang Samutprakarn district. Tools of research and anthropological methodology, non-participant observation and still use in-depth interview for interview person who comes to temple. The key informants are 60-year-olds who have come to practice in religious places and monks living in religious places. The research found that Facilities are very necessary for the older person who comes to use the service because they contribute in for religious activities at the religious places. Access to the toilet or do other things by themself within the religious place. But the places of worship in the case study are flawed because it has not enough for the older person. If the problem is known and corrected when religious places have complete facilities. Other age users will be more interested not only the older person who comes to use the service. So it can be a place for traveler to worship and visit. Because the temple is a part of Thailand.
