Abstract

creation of Thai nielloware has intention to study style and development of techniques in Thai traditional nielloware for benefit of bachelor programme curriculums by set up guideline to study the developmental of nielloware from Ayuttaya era to present. The study includes processes, materials and tools used in the creations of traditional nielloware for inspiration to create and develop techniques of carving, enamel etching and adornment. The project was completed in conclusion of fully beneficial to reserve and developmental of traditional craftsmanship in Thai jewelry and silversmith for a further step to international standard and commercial marketing worldwide.
