Study and development the art and craft hobby kits for promote health of older person

Abstract

Study and develop the hobby of arts and crafts to promote the health of the elderly. This is intended to study the opinions of the elderly about Arts and Crafts to design a hobby, arts and crafts to promote the health of the elderly. Also study the satisfaction of the elderly on hobby, art and handicrafts. The sample was the elderly and the staff from the elderly social service center, DinDaeng Bangkok 30 respondents used interview forms and questionnaires to collect information The data was used to design and evaluate the model with a questionnaire prepared by three design professionals. The prototypes consisted of 1) materials / products used in handicrafts, 2) the method made handicrafts and the 3) packaging and prototype styles, hobbies, arts and crafts Types of use and decoration The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research concluded that elderly of the sample was the elderly social service center, DinDaeng Bangkok there are 3 occupational therapists in the occupational therapy department. Materials and products used in the work of arts and crafts were 3.94, average of 3.67, and the average was 4. The overall design was good. All the designs are strong, durable, clean and easy to maintain. Product model represents hobby, arts and crafts. That is beautiful suitable for use satisfy the elderly to promote health as well.
