dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research was to analysis the Thai OTOP Benjarong wares in Samutsakorn
province on the form, pattern, color, the production process as well as the marketing management and
the training process and to guide for market strategy development of Benjarong products. The study
groups were in the main areas which produce Benjarong wares in Samutsakorn province Tambon
Donkaidee. The study revealed that Benjarong craft groups used the over glaze painting process to add
value to the plain white ceramics. Most of them ordered the plain white ceramics from the ceramic
factories. For the use of color, the Benjarong craftsmen in these study areas they always used the
metallic gold with various colors not only the complimentary colors but the harmony colors and the
monochrome. The colors used may start from one and add up to ten colors, it depended upon the
patterns and the Benjarong craftsmen’s individual artistry and taste. In terms of management, each craft
center was a cluster of the craft families. A leader was selected by the groups. The training process at
these Benjarong craft centers were similar it was the craftsman training method rather than the art
teaching method, which was based on step by step actual practice, trained by the elder Benjarong
craftsman in those craft centers. Regarding to market strategy development of benjarong products, variety
of products. It should advertise in Thai tourist group and for foreigners to enlarge its customer base to
increase the sales. have a museum and increase the image. It should also uniqueness on benjarong
