| dc.description.abstract | This research aim to study the Discourse on quality of life development policy for the Thai’ Karen elderly in
Ban Bueng sub-district Ban Kaa district Rathaburi Province. This research approach is qualitative research by
discourse analysis approach of Norman Fairclough. Researchers had collected data by using in-depth interviewed
with Thai’ Karen elderly in Ban Bueng sub-district Ban Kaa district Rathaburi Province with 18 people. This article
has been analyzed by the discourse analysis of text, discursive practice and social practice. The results showed
that the Government has created a policy for the Elderly to reduce inequality and create opportunities to access
the services of the Government. But the Thai’ Karen elderly living in remote areas, Therefore they cannot receive
every welfare. It also has a policy that affects for the Thai’ Karen elderly which in remote areas can be equal
to the elderly people of Thailand, such as Universal Coverage Scheme and The elderly living allowance, which
are the basic rights of people in Thailand. | en_US |
