The appraisal component of cultural tourism for senior citizen in Petchburi at Mrigadayavan palace

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study 1) the appraisal component of tourism with attraction, amenity and accessibility 2) Cultural tourist’s analysis of internal and external factors for adult citizen. This study was qualitative research. A case study approach theory was applied into this research. The researcher collected data by conducting in-depth interviews. Key informants were director of Mrigadayavan foundation and adult citizen whose were visited at Mrigadayavan Palace. The principle group of information has 20 people. The research results found that Mrigadayavan Palace is an identity place as you can see that as follows; First, Mrigadayavan Palace is a great place of historical importance with a natural environment suitable for relaxation. This part needs a public relations improvement. As a result, the adult citizens find its difficultness to access important information of this palace. 2) Mrigadayavan Palace is a unique and attractive place for the elder who are interesting in the history of the King Rama the Sixth Reign. There is also a significant area which are abundance of nature which suitable for relaxation. In terms of facilities for adult citizen, there are enough for visitors. For transportation to the place is also easy and be able to access the palace form Cha Am.
