This research aims to 1) to study the management factors of boutique hotel business in
Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan. 2) To measure the scale of tourist satisfaction towards the
management of boutique hotels in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan. and 3) To gain the knowledge
about management of boutique hotel business in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan.The results of the
first objective found that 90 people consisting of entrepreneurs, executives and operators in the
hotel business in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan shared opinions on the management factors of
boutique hotel business in Hua Hin Prachuap Khiri Khan at the high level (4.02). Also, they had
opinions on the management factors of boutique hotel business in the field of operation at the
highest level (4.44).The results of objective 2) showed that the scale of tourist satisfaction from 400
respondents in managing the boutique hotel business in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan was high
(4.17). They were satisfied with responding (4.64). The results obtained from the third objective
regarded to these following matters. First, planning, management planning is essential for business
success whether the hotel is small, medium or large. Especially marketing that they must study not
only their strengths, weaknesses but also their competitors’. Moreover, they analyze external
factors that may affect the hotel business. Secondly, controlling, they emphasized on the
manpower control which is the important fundamental factor in running business in order to
control the quality of service of employees and costs of the hotel business. Also, their knowledge
about cost reduction in hotel business is very important. Next, organization, boutique hotel is a
small to medium size organization. So, it makes them get advantage in reducing difficult process in
the organization. This leads to efficient internal communication in the organization. Lastly,
operation, they are self-management hotels operated as family business. There is a corporation
with other hotels as business alliance to share business information. However, they remain focusing
on providing good familiar service and trying to meet the needs of customers. They also aims to
provide superior service to maximize customer satisfaction.
