dc.description.abstractThis study was aimed at examining (1) the factors in selection of tutorial schools by high school students in Songkhla Province, (2) the factors in selection of tutorial schools by high school students in Songkhla Province classified by gender, grade, cumulative educational result, family income and school size, and (3) suggestions about the factors in selection of tutorial schools by high school students in Songkhla Province. The sample included 375 students who were studying at the upper secondary or high school level in academic year 2016 in Songkhla Province, and the sample size was determined by accidental sampling. The research tool used was a five-scale questionnaire with a confidence of 0.9800. Statistics used included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and f – test. The results indicate that the high school students’ opinions towards factors in selecting a tutorial school for overall and individual aspects were at a high level and that the opinions of high school students with different grades, cumulative educational results and family incomes for overall and individual aspects were not different, while the opinions of high school students with different genders and school sizes were different with a statistical significance of 0.05. Suggestions on the factors in selecting a tutorial school by high school students in Songkhla Province in descending order included (1) product, i.e. learning materials have no colorful attraction, (2) price, i.e. tutorial cost is too expensive, (3) place, i.e. there should be more distribution places to expand the opportunity for students who are not comfortable in traveling, (4) promotion, i.e. promotion price is more expensive than pre-promotion price, (5) personnel, i.e. age of teachers should be close to those of their students and there should be attractive teaching techniques, (6) process, i.e. service process is still faulty and informing of various information is delayed, and (7) physical image and presentation, i.e. number of classrooms and bathrooms is insufficient and not clean.en_US
