Study ways of Wisdom Woven Tei Panun in Bann Duhun to the Community - Based Tourism in Trang Province
Abstract
This research is a quantitative and qualitative research. The purpose of (1) to investigate the source of
wisdom woven Tei Panun handicraft (2) to analyze production processes weave pattern and style of handcrafted
baskets and (3) the relationship between handcrafted Tei Panun handicraft a way of Muslim life communities to
promote tourism. The samples used for the study were two groups: the first is the purchase to Tei Panun
materials of Bann Duhun by means of random sampling. The results were analyzed for percentage. The mean
and standard deviation of the group 2 are locals aged from 30 years up to 10 people using structured interviews
and participatory observation.
The results showed that (1) the community is Tei Panun handicraft has been for hundreds of years and
having learned from fathers passed on to the present and pose as enterprises in the community and the
development of woven Tei Panun in various beautiful and durable for use, (2) the satisfaction of the people
woven Tei Panun purchase of group shares on material processing and pattern woven pattern woven handicrafts.
An average of 3.50 (SD. = 0.95) the satisfaction of the users towards the development of the product model
overview with an average of 3.77 (SD. = 0.93) and product promotion. Found that the overall average of 3.86 (SD.
= 0.95) and product users are satisfied with the conservation of the product as a whole at an average 3.76 (SD. =
0.92) findings on issues (3) found woven Tei Panun that are important to communities and the lives of the
villagers with a woven Tei Panun for several years, and woven Tei Panun has developed as OTOP, Trang.
