Factors affecting the stress of school administrators under the office Of secondary educational service area in the upper northeastern region
Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the factors affecting the stress 2) to study stress level 3) to
study the correlation between the stress factors and stress and 4) to analyze multiple regression of affecting the
stress. The sample group consisted of 289 school administrators under the Office of Secondary Educational
Service Area in the upper northeastern region. The research instrument was a 5 rating-scale questionnaire. The
results were as follows: Overall, the factors affecting the stress was at a high level. the stress was at the middle
level. the factors affecting the stress of school administrators had negative relation with the stress of school
administrators in overall at a middle level with a statistical significance at the .01 level. The predictors are
organization factor, personal factor, working environment factor, jobs and roles factor, and social support factor.
