Factors that affected decision of elders to travelling the Bangsare Beach in Chonburi
Abstract
The purposes of this research were for study the factors that affected decision of elders to travelling the
Bangsare Beach in Chonburi, and for study the behavior travelling of elders that visited the Bangsare Beach in
Chonburi. Samplings of this research were the elders who came to the Bansare Beach in Chonburi, the age was
more than 60 years old that amount 400 persons. This research used questionnaire for collected the data, and
analyzed by descriptive statistic (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, f-test, one-way anova
and chi-square) by the SPSS program.
The results of factors affected decision of elders to travelling the Bangsare Beach in Chonburi that the
most of elders were female that age between 60-65 years old, status married and did not work. Behavior factor
shown that the most elders had travelling 1-2 times a year, the travel companions were their family and had a
purpose was relaxing, travel by private car, 1-2 day for staying and paying more than 5,000 Bath per the
travelling. In the part 4Ps that affected decision of elders to travelling the Bangsare Beach in Chonburi were
product, price, place and promotion that had the results in a high level. Next, in the part motivation had the
results both sides of physical and social were in a high level too. Next, in the most of the different of
demography affected to class of decision for travelling was not different decision. Finally, the most of factors
affected to the travelling behavior of elders were travel companions, duration of stay, payment, and vehicle.
