The purpose of this research was to identify factors that were able to discriminate between the high innovative work behavior and the low innovative work behavior of researchers in a Research Institute for Science and Technology (RIST). Participants were 191 researchers in RIST. Individual Questionnaire, Tolerance of Ambiguity Scale (α=0.835), Self-Efficacy Scale (α=0.880), Perceived Organizational Support for Innovation Scale (α=0.967), and Self-Discipline Scale (α=0.830) were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient, and discriminant function analysis. The discriminant function was determined by the stepwise method based on wilks’ lambda criterion. The results shown that Self-Efficacy and Self-Discipline were able to discriminate the high innovative work behavior and the low innovative work behavior of researchers with 67.5 percent correctly.en_US
