The purpose of this research was to study compare and the relationship between the
attitude towards teaching profession and emotional intelligence of undergraduates in the field of
Industrial education. The samples were 328 from each class of Rajamangala University of
Technology Lanna in 2016 academic year. The research tools consisted of questionnaires on
personal factors, attitude scales for testing attitude towards teaching profession and the emotional
intelligence test. The data were analyzed by using program to calculate the percentage, mean,
standard deviation, t – test, f – test and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient
The findings were summarized as follow :
1. The undergraduates in the field of Industrial education have the attitude towards teaching
profession at high level and the emotional intelligence at fair level.
2. The undergraduates on the field of Industrial education from each class have the attitude
towards teaching profession at high level and emotional intelligence at fair level.
3. The undergraduates in the field of Industrial education of different achievements have the
attitude towards teaching profession and the emotional intelligence differed at no significance level.
4. The undergraduates in the field of Industrial education from different majors have the
attitude towards teaching profession at high level and the emotional intelligence at fair level.
5. The relationship between attitude towards teaching profession and emotional intelligence
of the undergraduates in the field of Industrial education Rajamangala University of Technology
Lanna was positively correlated with the emotional intelligence at .05 significance level.
