The Needs Analysis on English Language Learning Of Plant Science Undergraduate Students Faculty of Science and Agricultural Technology At Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Nan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was aimed to conduct a needs analysis on English Language Learning of Plant Science undergraduate students, faculty of Science and Agricultural Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Nan. The subjects of this study were convenience sampling of 30 Plant Science undergraduate students learning in faculty of Science and Agricultural Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Nan. The statistics used in this research were percentages mean and standard deviation. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using percentage, means and standard deviation. The results revealed that for the objective of studying English, to pursue a career and continue further study was at the highest level (𝑥̅=3.87), for the content, to learn about technical terms in science and technology was at highest level (𝑥̅=3.90) and for the learning method, to learn from an instructor’s lecture was (𝑥̅=3.70).
