Abstract

Guidelines for Physical Improvement of Kuanlung Municipality Ampher Hatyai, Songkhla Province, is a research project to study and problems analysis include the proposed guidelines for the physical improvement of the study area Kuanlung Municipality. The Kuanlung border is connecting the north – west to Hatyai. Kuanlung city is a major city in connection with the city of Hatyai. Its importance in many areas, including : the location of Hatyai international airport, environment and natural beauty and a residential area grew from Hatyai. This research has used the process of problems study and analysis include the proposed of improvement guidelines. The research has considered the concept of the Image of the City theory of Kevin Lynch as a theoretical analysis of the problems in the imaginary town of the Kuanlung municipality. As well as suggestions for improvement the image of Kuanlung city, to be the completed and cleared elements and to be understood and impressions of the spectator. There is also the other theory of urban development in conjunction with in the research.
