The Effects of Learning Efficiency of Case Study Approach on the Academic Outcome of Business Administration Student
Abstract
This research is a survey study, the objective is to study the effect of using Case Studies Method in
the course MNGT3404 Business ethics. Enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2018, the
number of 17 students. The data was analyzed to find statistics such as percentage, mean and standard
deviation.
The results of the students' learning achievement revealed that average score before and after
participation in activities with significant differences at the level of 0.05 it means that the learning process
using Case Studies Method leaded to the better student achievement.
As for the results of analyzing student satisfaction in participating in the learning process using Case
Studies, it was found that the respondents had satisfaction in participating in the learning process by case
studies at the "Good" level. Responding to the survey gave suggestions to improve teaching and learning
in various areas. For example, activities should be held for more time. And on other topics of this course,
including the use of more diverse teaching materials for teaching
