    Corporate Social Responsibility of SMEs : Case Product Sector in Nakornprathom

    Abstract
    The objective of this study is to study the Corporate Social Responsibility of SMEs in type of the production business in NakhonPrathom province, and to study the Corporate Social Responsibility in SMEs with different factors in various aspects: business size, position and age of informant, number of year established, type of business, number of workers, and performance, etc. Data were collected by using questionnaires from 161 samples of the production SMEs, and were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Hypothesis was tested by the variance analysis (One-way ANOVA). The study, the findings showed that most businesses were small businesses. Informants were employees with at least 15 years of employment. Most of these businesses operated the business of food and beverage production, employing not more than 50 workers. The most of these businesses had a high level of overall corporate social responsibility. The most was social responsibility in policy and economy, followed by environment and society, respectively. From the result of hypothesis test, it was found businesses with different operation periods and number of workers affected social responsibility at a statistical significance level of 0.05.The nature of the business with high social responsibility such as new business, business operating for a long time, and business with large size or a lot of workers, etc. However, the performance did not affect corporate social responsibility because some businesses with good performance may not have a high level of corporate social responsibility.
