Computer Program for Civil Engineering Materials Testing Center Management Wang Klaikang Won Campus

Abstract

This paper proposed a computer program for civil engineering materials testing center management. It was developed by using visual basic programming combined with SQL language and Microsoft access database. It comprised 2 parts as follows: data files management and database management. The operation of this developed program can create the new data file and open the existed data file within the part of data file management. In addition, it can report the data in either the financial or the customer within the part of database management. Users can select the types of civil engineering materials testing composed of concrete, aggregates, steel, wood, asphalt and soil. The results of the operation shown the developed program can display the work receipt together with the total price. Moreover, it can illustrate the financial summary report, which refers to the desired duration or the operator. The reports can be displayed both on screen and on the printer.
