dc.description.abstractA study of residential improvement guidelines for the elderly. This aims to study home facilities to be safe for the elderly and to study ways to improve homes to ensure safety for the elderly. Exploring from the area according to the sample group studied is the type 2 elderly who have a deterioration of the body but can help themselves. Samples of 34 households who live in Moo 5, Salaya Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District Nakhon Pathom. The tools used in the research were the interview form. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with mean values. The results of the study showed that the elderly dwelling houses with appropriate facilities. The most common facilities there is a bathroom, toilet in the house and the bedroom of the elderly is on the ground floor. Safety in the home of the elderly found that most of the elderly homes still lack the proper safety for the elderly. On the least security That is, there is an emergency signal asking for help, followed by having a sharp corner protector of the home furniture.en_US
