Abstract

The thesis project “Threads of Bonding” is inspired by childhood experiences reflecting a mother’s love and devotion. The artist’s mother, a seamstress, serves as the main inspiration, with sewing used as a symbol of the unbreakable bond between mother and child. The work expresses pure love through symbolic imagery of sewing tools and lasting childhood memories. Created using intaglio etching, the piece emphasizes soft tonal values and a warm atmosphere, conveying a tender and memorable sense of love.
