The thesis artwork, "Mother's Shadow," aims to create a printmaking piece that reflects the memory and bond between mother and child. Using "shadow" as a symbol of memory and emotional existence, the artwork is created in a semi-abstract style, conveying the story of the bond between mother and child through symbols that reflect memory and loss. The artwork utilizes the relief process and woodcut technique to tangibly express emotions, feelings, and inner experiences, showcasing the value of texture and line weight in creating emotional dimension. The artwork effectively serves as a medium for conveying emotions, feelings, and inner experiences, reflecting bonding, loss, and the healing process.
