The Mood of Nature

Abstract

The creation of this thesis artwork, "The Emotions of Nature," aims to create an artwork that reflects human perception of nature, evoking feelings of calm, relaxation, freedom, and letting go. It conveys the beauty of nature in a realistic style, blended with Impressionist concepts. The artwork serves as a medium to express emotions and feelings derived from observing nature through my own experiences. It incorporates artistic elements such as line, color, shape, form, texture, space, light, and shadow, using compositional techniques specific to printmaking to enhance the emotional depth and value of nature. The artwork is created using the relief process, specifically the woodcut printing technique.
