The art thesis titled "The Power of Vibrant Chinese Culture" aims to convey the beauty and value of Thai Chinese cultural roots through personal perspective and interpretation. The primary inspiration is derived from the creator’s upbringing within a Thai Chinese family, deeply connected to the long-standing traditions and ancestral spirit. The creator identifies and utilizes identities from significant traditions and festivals, including the Chinese New Year Furthermore, Thai Chinese artistic patterns from religious sites and shrines are integrated as core design elements. These narratives are portrayed through unique character designs that serve as storytellers, communicating the atmosphere and symbolic beliefs associated with each festival. The creative process focuses on the two-dimensional Silkscreen printing technique, chosen for its efficiency in responding to vibrant color values and the complex layering of patterns. This body of work is not only a documentation of cultural stories but also a reflection of the power of faith and the prosperity of Thai Chinese culture, passed down from the past to the present.
