LOVE AND COMMITMENT
Abstract
A creation of the art education thesis title "Love and Commitment" aims to achieve the
following objectives: 1) To study the significance of love and Commitment in creation of paintings
and principles of visual composition. 2) To create two-dimensional paintings under the theme of
love and bond. 3) To design and produce an instructional video demonstrating the process of
create paintings and applying the principles of visual composition for high school teaching .and
vocational education
The research process is divided into three stages: 1) Studying, researching, and gathering
In Formation to analyze theories and concepts related to love and Commitment. 2) Creating the
art thesis and instructional materials. 3 ) Presenting the creative works and instructional materials
for high school teaching. The research results found that:
1 ) Study results the researcher collected information from books and online sources to
analyze theories and concepts related to love and Commitment. These include psychoanalytic
theories, the concept of love languages, Buddhist perspectives on love, and principles of visual art,
such as Art Nouveau and Surrealism. The study highlights the importance of love and Commitment
as essential and beautiful aspects of life that inspire human existence.
2 ) The researcher has created paintings using oil painting techniques on canvas frames,
measuring 120 x 160 centimeters, with 2 pieces, and 85 x 200 centimeters, with 1 piece, under the
theme of "Love and Commitment." The concept, colors and composition express the experiences
of love and being loved, as well as the deep meaning of emotional commitment in life, which
provide warmth and security. These bonds connect people to each other, fostering happiness and
strength, and remind us of the value of caring for one another.
3) Development of Instructional Media: The research created an instructional video on
oil painting techniques using recorded videos and photographs. This serves as an educational
resource for high school students.
