Independent Study Title Job Satisfaction of Personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin
Abstract
The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the job satisfaction of
Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin personnel with 10 factors which were
work performance, responsibility, career growth, work success, respect, relationship among
colleagues and supervisors, policy plan/administration, compensation and welfare, work
stability and work environment, and (2) to create a personnal guideline for Rajamangala
University of Technology Rattanakosin to reach maximum satisfaction among employees.
Conceptual framework was based on job satisfaction concept, quality of working life cycle
concept, and employee engagement theory.
Census sampling technique was applied to collect data from 164 personnel of
Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin to answer self-reported questionnaire.
Data were analyzed by bivariate analysis consisted of t-test, f-test, and correlation analysis.
Research findings revealed that: 1) analysis on job satisfaction of Rajamangala
University of Technology Rattanakosin personnel with 10 factors showed that personnel’s
different gender, education, field of work and work experience had no influence on the job
satisfaction of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin; however, age and work
assignment influenced on the job satisfaction at the statistically significant level, 2) quality
of working life and employee engagement had statistically significant relationship with job
satisfaction. These results implied that personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology
Rattanakosin had been satisfied with their jobs.
