Development of Residential Areas in Sathu Pradit Neighborhood, Bangkok
Abstract
The objective of the studying is to find out the way for the development of Sathu Pradit area in Bangkok and to support many projects that will
happen in the future as a residence and commercial area for the most benefits. There is a study about physical, economic and social aspects of
the area which shows physical design to analyze problems about potency, limitation, and objections of this area
Sathu Pradit area is located inside of Bangkok. Nowadays, there is growing demand for residence which leads to the expansion of the city center
around this area. Sathu Pradit has an area next to Silom-Sathon zone which is a business area of Bangkok (CBD) and it causes that this area has high
potency. There are more many investments but the using of land in this area is not in accordance with the plan of current use of land.
From the study, the need of the area development to be compatible with the future development planning and a lot of projects is known. The
development will focus on the residential areas and environment for quality of life of people around inside and outside the area including the
importance of a human. Development of this area also maintains and preserves its original identity.
